1. Here is the puzzle.

Posted Coordinates: N 44° 31.000 W 090° 08.123

Solve the puzzle below to find the coordinates of the cache.

The park is closed from Nov thru April, but you can park at N44 30.689, W90 08.123. This will give you about 1/2 mile or more each direction to the cache, but it is on paved roads, except for the last 250'.

Additional Hints:

Puzzle: Turn the rings to line up the coordinates.

Cache: hidden inside rings.

2.  Mark the Starting Position and Separate the Rings.

Using a highlighter or colored marker, mark the starting position of each ring.  (This step will help you put the rings back in their original positions if you need to start over.)  Now separate the rings by cutting them into concentric circles.

3.  Rotate the Rings to Solve the Puzzle.

Rotate each ring until N's are aligned with North and W's are aligned with West.  When the correct letters are aligned, coordinate numbers will be aligned in the East and South.

Reading from the innermost circle to the outermost circle, the coordinates can be solved.

4.  Put together the solved coordinates.

Here are the Posted Coordinates, for reference.
N 44° 31.000 W 090° 08.123

Since each direction solves five digits, the puzzle coordinates are as follows:
N 44° xx.xxx, W 90° xx.xxx
Solved Coordinates:
   N 44° 31.038 W 90° 08.143

5.  Verify the Solved Coordinates with GeoChecker.
