1. Record the Direction and amount of Time that each cat was walking.
North - walked for 15 hours, 45 minutes, and 20 seconds
West - walked for 13 hours, 38 minutes, and 24 seconds.
2. Convert the total time to seconds for each cat.
North = (15 x 60 x 60) + (45 x 60) + (20) seconds = 56720
West = (13 x 60 x 60) + (38 x 60) + (24) seconds = 49104
Use these answers as the minutes for the solved coordinates.
3. Put your solved coordinates together.
N 44° 56.720, W 089° 49.104
