1.  Here is the puzzle.

You should already be familiar with the story of the Knights Templar from Templar Treasure andTemplar Treasure 2 . If you have completed either of those adventures, you have an idea what awaits you at the end of this one. While not as grand as other Templar Treasures, the Knights still thought it was worth protecting.

During many years researching the Knights Templar, Dr. T. B. Cat has found many references to the hidden treasures. He discovered the following note scribbled in the margins of a Templar document from the late 1300s.

Dr. Cat was convinced that the note was significant, but was unable to decipher its meaning. He made a phone call to his long time colleague, Dr. G. Katzen. The two collaborated for quite a while, with many setbacks. Eventually the mystery was solved, and the solution was in hand.
