3.  Solve the math puzzle.

A = 1          G = 7           M = 13          S = 19          Y = 25

B = 2          H = 8            N = 14          T = 20          Z = 26
C = 3          I = 9             O = 15          U = 21
D = 4          J = 10           P = 16          V = 22
E = 5          K = 11          Q = 17         W = 23
F = 6          L = 12           R = 18          X = 24

A = sum of the green squares divided by three

The Green letters are H and M.

H = 8
M = 13

Therefore,

A = (8 + 13) / 3
A = 21 / 3
A = 7

B = big blue square minus the two little blue squares

The Blue letters are G, B, and P.

G = 7
B = 2
P = 16

Therefore,

B = 16 - 7 - 2
B = 7

C = big red square minus the little red square.

The Red letters are R and J.

R = 18
J = 10

Therefore,

C = 18 - 10
C = 8

D = sum of the purple squares divided by four.

The Purple letters are D, D, and H.

D = 4
H = 8

Therefore,

D = (4 + 4 + 8) / 4
D = 16 / 4
D = 4

E = sum of the yellow squares divided by ten.

The Yellow letters are E, A, G, O, U, U

E = 5
A = 1
G = 7
O = 15
U = 21
U = 21

Therefore,

E = (5 + 1 + 7 + 15 + 21 + 21) / 10
E = 70 / 10
E = 7

F = brown square

The Brown letter is A.

A = 1

Therefore,

F = 1

    1. The Puzzle says "A = sum of the green squares divided by three". It also says, that for the crossword only, A=1, B=2, C=3. So if the two green squares are 'H' and 'M', you total up the numerical equivalent of 'H' and 'M' between 1 and 26, which is 8 + 13 = 21, then divide by three. So A=7. We haven't done the rest yet...
