2.  Solve the puzzle.

Here is a table Mr. RT made up to solve the puzzle.

He came up with the idea when he noticed the combination "MN MN" in more than one location, and "MN" at the end of the bottom line. Since "E" is the most common letter in the numbers 0-9 (and the English language for that matter), he reasoned that "MN" was probably an "E", and "L MNL LOM MN MN" was probably "THREE".

He then built a chart that showed all of the letter combinations in the puzzle.  From there, we used logic to decipher the rest of the letters.

For example:  Since "MNL" was H, any word with "MNL" was probably either "NORTH", "THREE", or "EIGHT".  That is, once you get past all the jibber jabber nonsense that HCH uses to inveigle his coordinates.

  1. Actual found out that this is a signal Core code that was use in 1860. He changed 1,2,3,4 to L, M, N, O. The only thing I could find was
B= 1423 or in this puzzle LOMN. Might help for future puzzles.
