Granny squares afghans... Who doesn't have one draped across the back of a couch or folded up on the end of the bed? Warmth made up of bright colored yarn, leftover scraps from larger projects, crocheted together in an artful tapestry of shades and hues... And now we've created a granny squares afghanjust for you. We've tied in all the ends and wrapped the squares in a one-color border to keep things all together. Enjoy!

puzzle: lots of pretty, pretty colors (up to 26 of them?); and black is not a color

2.  Solve the Puzzle.

Treat the puzzle colors like a cryptogram.  Each color represents a letter.  Here are the colors that represent E and N.  Now try to fill in words like nine, eight, seven, three, and one.  This will give you solutions for other colors.

Now we'll add I and G.

Next you can solve T and H.

Then the letter O.
