Additional Hints:

So..what IS the logo?? Google what "(what the logo IS)" + "code"
You'll walk by the original hiding spot. Damn Barnes Bears!!!
Go down and look under.

2.  Solve the puzzle.

Hint:  So..what IS the logo?? Google what "(what the logo IS)" + "code"

The Logo looks like a Square.  If you Google "Square Code", you will get QR Codes.  However, take a better look at the logo.  It is actually four squares.

If you Google "Four-Square Code", you will see several links that refer to a cryptography method called Four-Square Cipher.

Of the two results, we lean toward the Four-Square Cipher.  It's a better fit with the Cheezehead method of operation.

Here are some of the links we found.  They are each slightly different, so you might want to study each one, to figure out where the CO might try to trick you.
Geocaching Toolbox - Four-square cipher
Learn Cryptography - Four Square Cipher
Crypto Corner - Four-Square Cipher
Practical CryptographyFour-Square Cipher
You will need Keywords for the decryption.  We have already tried Barnes - Babes, and Cindy - Lori.  These did not work with a straight A - Z alphabet cipher.

The alphabet may be scrambled, or it could be letters and numbers, and there are always the Cheezehead spelling errors to contend with.

Here is the puzzle text that needs to be decrypted.

  1. The logo is nothing more than Four Squares. Here is a page on how to use a Four Square cipher: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-square_cipher

  2. So if this is a four-square cipher, we need to know what the squares look like, and what the two key words are. I'm guessing it's a 6x6 grid, and my first thought is that the Keywords to use must be BARNES and BA(b)ES. Or maybe BANES BA(b)ES, just like he has it spelled.

  3. We contacted gramacindy (one of the Barnes Babes) to confirm that this is a four-square cipher and to find out where we should look for the keyword, but she doesn't remember how to solve this puzzle.

Does someone know the CO well enough to get a hint for the each of the Barnes Babes Ciphers?

Without additional information, I'm not sure we can solve these last to puzzles. There are too many variables to make brute force a reasonable method of decryption, even with the help of our computers.

  4. Confirmed with CO this is a four square cipher. He said with detective work you can figure out the keywords.

    1. So far I have tried Barnes and Babes.

I haven't tried their names yet. One of them is Cindy, and one is Lori. I don't know the other two. But their names might be a possibility.

  5. The Four Barnes Babes are:

    gramacindy
    Loony Lori
    milesfromnowhere
    Kraftyfashionables

    Could these be Keywords?
